A police officer has one of the toughest jobs . . . and so does that man's wife! Overworked, underpaid, and overloaded with concern and stress; this is often how an officer's wife recieves her husband when he is off duty. The funniest and best part is, is that when the job does go right, then it makes everything all worth it. This is one officer's wife's daily register of her and her husband's journey:

The zoo was so much fun. We didn't have to pay for a thing! Wow, so unexpected! Not like that we didn't appreciate it, or actually spend a lot, we just were so thankful. When I decided I wanted to stay at home there are many sacrifices that we have made and make on a daily basis. We haven't been anywhere in 6 months, so it was really nice to get out. Anyway, we saw lions, gorillas, penguins, and fed the giraffes! Our son was terrified of the giraffes. You pay to get some food, and literally hand feed them. The craziest thing was how long their tounges are! It's crazy! Like a foot long! Then the giraffe sneezed on our son, and he was done. He screamed because he was so afraid. There were around ten prople around us, who just laughed when they saw our baby crying. It was kind of funny, but I felt bad he was so afraid. Anyway, we ate, then left. It was getting hot. As soon as we got back to the house, we all took naps. After the naps we stayed around, grilled some ribs, and talked. Our baby went to bed, and we relaxed some more. We will leave tomorrow at five in the morning; hubby has to work at ten.
